So this latest episode I wanted to poke a little fun but talk about bad dates and the expectations we have about dating in general. Often times we set such high expectations of the potential people we meet that we don’t realize we create a false narrative and façade of them and ourselves. it gets so bad that we catfish folks. Other times we get overzealous and end up sabotaging the date before we give it a chance to blossom.
In my particular experience on this date, I realized that this date was doomed when I suggested going to the movies, which now I realize is a disaster for a first or second date. Mostly because it means that we aren’t getting the chance to know one another. But again that’s what The Single Chronicles is all about. Learning from mistakes.
