What is your all time favorite automobile?
Hands down without question is the Chevy Impala. Now I’ve had favs in particular designs through the years but overall this car was always the best.
I mean even this baby was the mascot for the show Supernatural as well as films such as Set It Off, All About The Benjamins, and Jeepers Creepers. It even rocked out to Ice Cube’s Today Was a Good Day and Dr. Dre’s Let Me Ride… just to name a few.
Even though Chevy discontinued this baby… it’ll always have a place in my heart.
Why?
When I decided to upgrade my car back in 2010, I opted for a 2008 Chevy Impala.
It was certified used so it had low miles and a warranty. But what made me love her was the fact that I had 0 interference or insistence from anyone. Most times people go into a dealership to drive out with what they pick for you or what family/friends think that you should get.
That day I was intent on what I wanted, check in hand. I eventually upgraded to a newer version back in 2017 and decided, I was cool from there on.
Regardless if I follow the SUV trend, I will still love ol’ girl. Heck, I just may get a classic one just like Dean.
