Finally I have completed my review of the anticipated Aquaman flick starring Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundgren and so many more awesome cast.

I am not sure how much I can say this but I really appreciate not only James Wan’s attention to detail in this flick but his respect of the actual source material. I mean everything down to Aquaman’s forgotten powers, to Ocean Master’s mask. The beauty of the sets and the scariness of some of the creatures. I haven’t always been the biggest fan of Aquaman but Momoa and crew did an amazing job.

And that is me being as unbiased as I can be. I went in not expecting anything but just like Wonder Woman, this flick was a good stand-alone comic book adaptation. One thing that I both like & dislike are the inconsistencies with the Justice League flick. This is pretty much a good thing since JL suffered greatly with trying so hard to set up a cinematic universe. This is also a bad thing because continuity is crucial in order to set up a cinematic universe! 🤔

Thank God and the Heavens above that we finally have an Aquaman that does away with that shitty version from the Super Friends cartoon from back in the day. Well except Smallville, that guy did a pretty decent job too.

Anyway, without further ado, here is my review of Aquaman:

My Vote: It’s Awesome

it's awesome

Well Until next time kiddies,

Shalom
