The following is an embellished scene to the original published story. I decided that I would re-release The Virus Within in its original glory. This is because the best way to get my mojo back was to revisit the moment when I was most inspired to write and create.
When I first drafted this book, a lot of the original content was lost when my computer crashed just before I completed my first draft. But if I’m being honest, I was really self-conscious, I felt that my story was a bit too graphic for some of my readers at the time. I felt odd about writing this chapter because I was not at all comfortable about my own sexual orientation back then. Although I originally attempted to remove it, I later kept it but toned down the sexual content as it pertains to both my and the main character, Charlotte’s bisexuality.
If it’s not already obvious, this contains explicit content. So, discretion (and common sense) is advised. Oh and save the judgment & homophobia…
