“I’m Back!” Neve Campbell said to fans earlier this weekend.

The Canadian native recently appeared on the Scream panel at Fan Expo in Canada. She was joined by her Scream costars, Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich, and Jamie Kennedy.
The actors reminisced about working with the late, Wes Craven as well as other projects they worked on previously.

“At some point, in whatever creative art you’re in or whatever passion you’re chasing, you have to find belief somewhere.” Lillard said in a heartfelt story he told about Craven. “And for me, that moment with Wes resonates very deeply in moments when I feel the worst.”
During the panel, Campbell also discussed her fondness for working on Party of Five where the actress had found success prior to starring in Scream.
“The writing was so good on that show. And I think the reason it was so good is because the writers wrote from their experiences as well and from the experiences that we all I think, have in life,” Campbell said.
Campbell and the rest of the panel, however, did not discuss current and future projects they were involved in such as Five Nights at Freddy’s, which stars Lillard. Because of the ongoing strike by the Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA, actors are prohibited from promoting their work.
“So here’s a very complicated thing; We are striking right now and in Hollywood, like I can’t cross that line because that’s actually about a film that’s coming out. So I can’t speak to that,” Lillard told a fan who asked about the up-and-coming horror film based on the popular video game series of the same name.

Will Ghostface’s favorite final girl, Sydney make a return to the franchise? I’m not sure but one can hope especially since her character was never killed offscreen as seen in the previous entry, Scream 6. Let’s hope her homecoming at Fan Expo Canada is a sign. 🙏🏼
Fan Expo Canada is hosting panels from favorites such as Stranger Things to Star Wars to MCU/Netflix alums, Jon Bernthal, Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio. The event took place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from Thursday, August 24th – August 27th.
